This document outlines the terms and conditions for using the website of SAO Association Hellas (SAO), www.sao-hellas.gr, where you can find information about the organisation’s mission and activities. These terms apply to all pages and all content on the website. By using our website, you agree unconditionally to these terms.

The terms and conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice, and it is your responsibility to check for any changes. Logos and trademarks belonging to third parties (such as companies, organisations, or other entities) that appear on the SAO website remain the intellectual and industrial property of the respective organisations and have been provided to SAO for this specific use.

Any costs that may arise for users due to possible damage incurred while browsing our website are their sole responsibility and shall in no case be borne by SAO.

The SAO website may contain links to other websites, which redirect users to third-party webpages. However, such linking does not imply that we assume any responsibility for the availability, quality, or completeness of the content, services, or personal data protection policies of those websites.

User obligations

Users of the website are obliged to comply with the Greek, EU and international laws, as well as with this website’s terms and conditions, and must refrain from any illegal actions when using or interacting in any way with SAO’s website.

If users wish to make a donation or contribute as volunteers to SAO, they must provide true and accurate information. We bear no responsibility in the event that users provide false or inaccurate information.

If a user engages in improper or unlawful use of the SAO website or the services offered through it, they are liable for any resulting damage to the organisation. If the organisation becomes involved in legal proceedings or is required to pay compensation due to the user’s breach of obligations as outlined in these terms, the user shall be required to indemnify the organisation for any resulting damage.

Underage Users

Access to and use of the SAO website by minors is permitted only with the consent of their parents or legal guardians. If a minor submits personal data to SAO without such consent, that information will be deleted.

We take all necessary measures to protect the personal data collected through the SAO website. Applicable Law and Other Terms

The above Terms and Conditions for the SAO website, as well as any modifications thereof, are governed by and supplemented by Greek and EU law and the relevant international conventions. If any of the terms are found to be contrary to the law, they shall automatically cease to apply and be removed, without affecting the validity of the remaining terms.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between SAO and the users of its website and are binding only upon them. No modification of these terms shall be taken into account or considered part of this agreement unless it is made in writing and formally incorporated into it.

It is also agreed that any disputes arising from the implementation of these terms, if not resolved amicably, shall be governed by Greek law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens.
